The Prom is Over, Now What?

What are the options for keeping the party going after the prom? Most seniors are looking at beaches, Wildwood, the Poconos, or even just a local hotel. Here are some tips for making sure everything is perfect, or at least not a total disaster. It all depends on planning.

This year the prom is on a Wednesday and there is school the next day. What a bummer. Do not get in trouble for having a good time at the prom. Plan accordingly so that you can have fun and meet all your obligations. Graduation is just around the corner, so let us just do what we need to do to graduate.

Friends who tag along for all the after prom fun should pay their own way, and be sure to include the costs of transportation there and back so you won’t get stuck with the bill. The cost for everything is so high and the prom costs enough already, without paying for others to have a good time. Plan all the fun with your friends, before the big day.

If you are not going home directly after the prom, make arrangements with your parents and include them in your plans. Make your parents aware of where you are going and where you will be, just in case of an emergency. Lastly, plan to have enough time to go home and change to come to school on Thursday.
