On June 2, 2016, Passaic High School had their Senior Prom at the Royal Manor in Garfield, NJ. How did it do?

If you guessed amazing, you are correct! It was a blast! It was the one night seniors could dress up at their best and celebrate the kick-off of June, the month to celebrate! This was our chance to celebrate the ending of our high school career and the fact that we will not see each other in so short a time.

Since so many people attended, the dance floor was extremely crowded. Nonetheless, I danced off and dabbed as yours truly, the Prom Knight. The music mostly sounded similar, or it might have been the same artists over and over again, but this prom didn’t go without the “Cha-Cha Slide” or “Do Your Dance.”

The Manor brought in some amazing meals and candy – LOTS OF IT. Your Prom King and Queen were Ray Thomas and Vanessa Garcia. Congratulations to them! They lived up to the expectations of a Prom King and Queen.

However, in the end, this special night was about celebrating and making sure that the good times were rolling – and making sure you dressed well while doing it.

Speaking for the class of 2016, we would like to extend a special thanks to the principals, teachers and other staff who made this night possible, and the last four years for that matter.

And to all the graduating seniors, let the good times roll on the road to graduation and beyond. Here’s to the Class of 2016. We have a lot to be proud of, so let this be a conclusion to celebrate! See you at GRADUATION!
